The Maritime Hot Rod Association is dedicated to the development of a sanctioning body
to promote Drag Racing in Canada's Atlantic Provinces with input from Racers from
Miramichi Dragway Park, Greenfield Dragway, Raceway Park PEI,
Clarenville Dragway and Cape Breton Dragway.
Our goal is to define a common set of safety rules for all tracks for all classes with the
possibility of establishing a Regional Certification Program for Drag Racing vehicles.
These classes would include Super/Pro, Pro, Sportsman, Bike/Sled, and any special event
classes like Heads Up, Stock/Superstock, Pro Tree,
Outlaw, 10.5, Real Street, Pro Street, etc.
Founding Members are now being recruited to refine the concept before full public
release and negotiations with track managment/workers/racers.
To become part of it all join our Message Board(You must register) and let's get this thing started.
After the public release date(not available yet) the MHRA will be taking Members
applications but not until we have a full executive and a plan in place.
